Cantaré Caprese Salad
 
Serves 6
You'll need...
- 1 lb of Cantaré Fresh Mozzarella
Cheese, sliced
- 1/4-inch thick, Ovoline
or Sofficella preferred
4 Heirloom tomatoes – assorted colors, sliced 1/4-inch thick
6 fresh basil leaves
1 teaspoon of capers
Extra virgin olive oil
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
Here's how...
- Alternatively layer mozzarella slices and
heirloom tomatoes on a plate or platter (six
individual stacks). Top each stack with torn
basil leaves and capers. Drizzle with extra
virgin olive oil and season to taste with
salt and black pepper. Serve with crusty
Italian bread.
