Cantaré Triple Cheese Gnocchi Bake
 
Serves 4
You'll need...
- 1 lb of fresh Gnocchi
5 oz of Cantaré Fresh Mozzarella Cheese - Perle
or Ciliegine preferred
8 oz of Cantaré Mascarpone Italian Cream Cheese
5 oz of blue cheese, crumbled
2 garlic cloves, sliced and fried in oil till golden and
crisp
Freshly ground black pepper
Here's how...
- Preheat the oven to broil. Cook the gnocchi in a large
pot of salted boiling water for about 3 minutes or until
they float to the surface. Remove, drain and rinse with
cold water. Spoon gnocchi into 4 individual ovenproof dishes.
In a large skillet, over a low heat, combine the mascarpone
cheese and blue cheese. Stir until melted. Add the fried
garlic slices and bring sauce to a boil. Cook until the
sauce thickens enough to coat the back of a spoon. Pour
the sauce over the gnocchi, then top with mozzarella cheese.
Grill in a preheated broiler until golden brown. Season
to taste with black pepper. Garnish with fresh figs.
