Burrata The Fresh Mozzarella Surprise
Burrata is like a little surprise package. Wrapped inside a little ball of Fresh Mozzarella is an empty chamber filled with a blend of stringed cheese and mascarpone cheese. The delicious and sensuous Burrata has become the darling of restaurateurs throughout the region who use it in appetizers, cheese-based salads, desserts and other appetizing dishes.
Cantaré’s Burrata, which took the gold medal in the 2003 National Cheese Championships held in Wisconsin and 2004 American Cheese Society competition, is now served in some of the West’s best restaurants including: Il Fornaio, The Pelican - Miami, Il Cielo – Beverly Hills, La Bottega – Santa Monica, Mi Piache – Pasadena, Pinocchio – Brentwood, Alessio – Thousand Oaks and Il Forno – Santa Monica.
